This year marks the 30th anniversary of Christchurch's HERITAGE FESTIVAL. It provides an annual platform to share & celebrate us as a community & us within the community. Through an act of Parliament the place is recognised as a unique and outstanding cultural centre with a very specific remit to look after the heritage buildings and to foster, promote and encourage arts, culture, heritage, education and creativity.

So on Thursday the 23rd of October, this month, as part of the Heritage Festival, the Arts Centre in Heritage New Zealand will host an evening celebrating 50 years of creativity at the Arts Centre.
